DriversNest: Support & FAQ
Need help with DriversNest? Below are answers to common questions. If you don't find what you're looking for, email us at support@codewithtrong.com.
Do I need an account to use DriversNest?
Yes. You'll need to create an account (email/password, or sign in with Apple or Google) before you can add vehicles or log any data.
Does the app work without an internet connection?
Yes, for the Free and Garage+ tiers, all your vehicle data is stored locally on your device and fully usable offline. An internet connection is only needed for sign-in, cloud sync (Pro tier), photo/invoice uploads, and VIN lookups.
Is my data backed up if I lose my phone?
Only if you're on the Pro plan. Free and Garage+ store data locally on your device only. Pro adds automatic cloud backup and syncs your garage across multiple devices.
How many vehicles can I add?
The Free plan is limited to 1 vehicle. Garage+ (one-time purchase) and Pro (subscription) both unlock unlimited vehicles.
What's the difference between Garage+ and Pro?
Garage+ is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited vehicles, forever. Pro is a subscription that includes everything in Garage+ plus cloud backup and multi-device sync.
Can I attach a photo of my service invoice or receipt?
Yes. You can attach a photo of a service invoice or receipt directly to any maintenance log entry, so you have a record alongside the cost, date, and details you enter yourself.
How do service reminders work?
You can set reminders two ways per service type (oil change, tire rotation, general service): a specific due date, or a mileage interval (e.g. every 5,000 miles). Reminders are calculated from what you log, DriversNest doesn't know your vehicle's real-world mileage unless you keep it updated.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID (iOS) or Google Play account (Android), the same place you manage any other app subscription. DriversNest doesn't process billing directly.
